There is a very special and uplifting feeling in contributing to making the world a better place! I hope to make a growing positive impact in others lives as I expand my music career. Here you will find a listing of charity organizations that I am currently involved with helping out. I have just recently started the journey in this area so I plan to add others to the list over the next year. ALDO!

American Cancer Society – Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Breast Cancer touches everyone is some way – whether you’re a patient, a survivor, or a loved one. I have chosen to get involved because breast cancer has directly affected my family and friends. This disease is currently affecting 1 out of 7 women and has been reported to be on the rise. The exact cause of the escalation of cases is currently unknown but researchers and technology have been making great strides in the early detection and treatment of this potentially deadly disease. My first event with the American Cancer Society took place at the ‘Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk’ on Sunday October 10, 2004 located at the Philadelphia Art Museum. My wife and I raised money and walked with thousands of other people in a show of support for this effort. Please click on the following links for more information and photos of the event:

Update for 2005:

My wife and I raised money for the 2005 ‘Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk’ but unfortunately we could not attend the event because my wife wasn’t feeling well, the weather was unfortunately cold and rainy, we look forward to having a chance to walk in 2006!

Update for 2006:

My third event with the American Cancer Society took place at the ‘Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk’ on Sunday, October 8, 2006, located at the Philadelphia Art Museum. I raised money and donated a bunch of my own music CDs, I even handed a few out on the walk, this year I was joined by my good friend Terry as my wife had sprained her ankle just a few weeks prior to the event, Terry and I walked with thousands of other people in a show of support for this effort!

The Breast Cancer Fund's Climb to End Breast Cancer!

The Climb is a quick, easy way to help end breast cancer with a simple point and click. By taking our virtual climb, you will be helping The Breast Cancer Fund (TBCF) curb the epidemic by supporting its efforts to identify and eliminate the environmental causes of the disease. TBCF is advocating for a comprehensive program that monitors the synthetic chemicals found in breast milk (and our breasts), increased funding for research into the environmental links to breast cancer, and incentives that encourage companies to reduce the use of harmful chemicals.
